OVER FORTY YEARS IN BUSINESS 

Carlisle Auto repairs was started by Esmond Kielty in 1970. It is a small family run business and employes four people. David Scott came to work for the company in 1980 and Brandon Kielty - Esmond's son joined the firm on leaving school in 1990. The other valued member of the team is Esmond's wife Linda, who looks after reception and the accounts. Esmond was selected by VOSA to become a member of the National MOT council serving the whole country, and is one of only ninety council members.

 

OUR SERVICE TO YOU THE CUSTOMER 

We pride ourselves on giving a good honest service at a reasonable price. Our hourly rate of £22.50, we believe is the cheapest rate in Carlisle. And our 39 point menu service (see check list) is from £49.00 + parts and VAT is difficult to beat.

 

MOT 

We also carry out MOT's and have been authorised to test vehicles since 1981. VOSA, the government body who controls the MOT scheme recently graded MOT garages into three categories; green, amber, and red. Green being the top score and red being the bottom score ( WE WERE PLEASED TO BE RATED GREEN ).

 

WARNING LIGHTS ON DASH 

The firm has always moved with the times and have all the latest diagnostic equipment to deal with engine management, ABS, electronic control systems, and other related warning lights. We are also crypton approved technicians and Brandon has just completed an air conditioning course to bring us up to the new environmental requirements (AC1 refrigerant handling EC842-2006).
